An ambitious new cultural platform linking Africa and Europe will debut in Napoli, Italy, from 30 October to 1 November 2026 under the name Euro-Afric Festival.
Organised by World Star Records Ltd in partnership with the Ghana Union Association in Napoli, the Creative Arts Agency, the National Folklore Board, the Musicians Union of Ghana and several international partners, the three-day event aims to strengthen cultural diplomacy, trade and creative exchange between the two continents.
Ghanaian highlife and Afro-pop artist Dr Yaw Stone is among the confirmed participants. The festival will feature live performances, arts and crafts exhibitions, tourism showcases, investment forums and networking sessions designed to open new opportunities for African creative industries in Europe.
A formal launch in Ghana is scheduled for 8 August at the Gold Coast Restaurant and Lounge in Accra. Organisers say the initiative will become an annual platform focused on youth empowerment, innovation and the promotion of African music and culture on the European stage.
